If you are interested in getting a tattoo, please read the information below before contacting me.
Getting started:
-
It is important that you can describe your idea in full detail, including the location on the body where you would like the tattoo.
-
It helps to see images that you would like to use for reference. This gives me an idea of visually what you are looking for.
-
Please do not send photos of other people's tattoos.
-
I also ask for a photo of the location on your body where you would like to place the tattoo.
-
All of this is important to make sure that I am the right artist for your project before we discuss appointment dates and cost estimates.
-
Designs will be finalized the day of your appointment.
Scheduling:
-
Once we have discussed your idea, and the project seems like a good fit, I will schedule a date for your tattoo.
-
A nonrefundable $175 deposit is required to hold the date.
-
Rescheduling an appointment is allowed with 7 days notice prior to the appointment date in order to retain the deposit.
-
I only work on one person a day, so there are no distractions or interruptions.
-
Because I only work on one tattoo a day, I've had to stop scheduling projects that take less than two hours to complete.
Pricing:
-
I work at a rate of $150/hr. The rate applies from the start of the appointment at noon, until the tattooing is done for that day.
-
Tattoo design work, sizing, and set up are free of charge.
-
There are no free touch ups.
-
Large scale projects such as sleeves or back pieces often take 8 to 10 full day sessions, depending on the complexity of the design and how easy the skin is to work with. There is no way that I can give a perfect cost estimate in advance.
-
The hourly rate starts at the scheduled time of you appointment, regardless of whether you are late.
-
Please understand that I work as efficiently as possible to maximize every session.
-
By leaving a deposit, you are acknowledging and agreeing to all of the above policies.
-
Please understand that if you do send photos of other artists tattoos, I will only use them as inspiration. I aim to exclusively make original work for my clients.
Your time is important to me, so I ask that you respect my time too. All of the above information helps me spend more time focusing on what's important. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
